Volunteers

We always need volunteers to help with chapter activities. Contact our President if you can spare some time.

Current needs include:

• Setting up the chapter's newsletter. We need help in writing, editing, production, and mailing.
• We're holding an essay contest and need help in publicity and judging.
• We need volunteers to arrange the awards dinner where we present the prizes for the essay contest.
• We have shown the AU 50th anniversary video on some local cable systems public access channels, and need volunteers to deliver the tape to other cable systems.
• We need to measure the success of press releases. Contact us if you'd like to monitor a newspaper, radio or TV station.
• We need help with setting up monthly dinner meetings, especially people to scope out convenient restaurants around the state and to suggest and approach potential speakers.
